Poop Jokes.
Owen sure does take the saying 'taking care of business' to the extreme when he's playing in his 'office', if you know what I mean ;)

Confessional
I've found myself in a bit of funk lately. Not wanting to venture out, not wanting to argue with Liam about eating his breakfast, timing Owen's naps or just generally rushing about to go out in the heat. And there's been a lot of heat. This leads to a lot of days indoors, sometimes fun days, sometimes just plain old don't get out of your pajama days. Which, I confess, I don't mind that much. And neither does Liam; he's always loved his pajamas & staying in them.
I feel like I'm stuck in a Groundhog Day loop. The waking up routine of feeding the cats, making coffee, getting milk for Liam, getting Owen fed & settled...it seems to be taking a while & some mornings taking a toll. I feel like I'm constantly wiping someone's butt, cleaning up blow outs, taking someone to the potty (even myself, if I'm lucky!), feeding someone, cleaning someone up, feeding another someone, wiping up Barf Boy, getting Owen down for a nap, nagging Liam to eat his breakfast, etc. etc. etc. And when I finally feel settled & have taken a breath and start to think about heading out, I look at the clock & it's like 12:30 or 1pm and I haven't even thought about lunch for Liam. But I sure am thinking about that nap I hope he takes. And that Owen stays asleep for longer than an hour. And we don't end up going anywhere. And the kitchen still isn't cleaned up and the dishwasher still isn't emptied...etc. etc. etc. And maybe I should get myself something to eat.
I'm not really sure how to snap myself out of this though beyond just forcing myself out of the house. Which I do, but I haven't been. And I apologized to Liam for being boring lately & not doing fun things with him & he just said "it's OK, I like my jammies"...so there's that!
But I'm finding that remaining shut in is making me a not so nice Mama. I lose my patience quicker, I raise my voice faster & I turn to the DVR in times of chaos more often. I'm not sure I like this person but I'm not sure how to show them door either. Maybe summer is just heading towards the long side? Maybe when school starts & I have no reason to remain shut in I will get jump started into action? Maybe slowing down sometimes isn't a bad thing?
We don't always have money to spend on an activity or event all the time so I have to pick & choose the places & things that cost versus the ones that are free and I have plenty of options but then factor in the weather and that narrows things down & when things get narrowed down I tend to just do nothing. And that kind of sucks for everyone. I was being pretty good about just getting us going & letting Owen sleep through stuff but now his naps are bumping up against Liam finally being ready to leave & I find myself saying "we'll go after Owen gets up" and that bumps up to lunchtime...you can see where this can lead, right?
I get exhausted just writing this out! Am I trying to do too much? Am I just getting lazy? Am I using money & the weather as excuses? I think the answer is yes to all of those things. But I cannot get out of this cycle & it's driving me a little crazy!
Then you add on all the trips & visitors & parties & babies growing up too quickly & upcoming vacations & spur of the moment trips that fall into our laps thanks to Matias' work...I know that I'm doing enough for my kids. And yet when the longest time we've spent out of the house is a trip to the grocery store or Target, I've got to pause and check myself. Cause I'm just not sure it all adds up like it should.
And then, THEN, I think of mothers I know who do next to nothing with their kids ALL THE TIME and wonder how they get away with that, how the kids don't go crazy or how their guilt doesn't eat away at them...
So anyway...to summarize! I feel stuck & don't know how to fix it. And it's not making me the most bestest Mama I could be. I cannot be the only one who gets like this, can I? How did you snap yourself out of it? And will you come do that for me too, please? THANKS!!

Slight Annoyances
Not much to say today, still getting over our colds (Liam was saved though), taking it easy & sitting on pins & needles for tomorrow...
But this morning as I was getting ready to leave the house & putting Liam's shoes on, I noticed that one of them was covered in some sort of animal poop all over the bottom. I haven't put these shoes on him in a while so I know it wasn't me...
The thing that really irks me though (and Nana can attest to this, first hand) is that someone else knew it was there & didn't do anything about it. So I had to sit there & scrape it off with a toothpick (all in the treads, of course), being mindful not to soak the entire shoe when I tried to dampen it in order to scrape off the crap easier...
This kind of shit, LITERALLY, really annoy me! How hard is it to clean it off when it happens? It's easier when it's still "new" to begin with. Also? To not say something to someone so at least maybe they can do something about it is just rude. And to say that you didn't notice is poppy-cock. You cannot help but notice. I mean you have to hold the shoes in your hands in order to take them off the child's foot to start with!
So there's my slight annoyance :) Anyone got one of their own?

Friday Five!
Another quickie edition of Friday Five for y'all. I need to wrap up our Montreal trip (have 2 1/2 more days to cover!) & I need ample time to sit down & do that but I'm running low on ample time this weekend so don't keep your fingers crossed for anymore Adventures with the Fellow before Monday (although, I will indeed try!).
Five New Things Liam is Doing:
Five New Things Liam is Doing:
- He goes & gets his "bibbie" when he eats his apple sauce in his chair in front of the TV. He says "bibbie" also with this really cute little boy lilt in his voice
- He says "meat" (guess who taught him that one, Nikki!) and it is the hands-down-cutest thing recently. He smiles when he says it too! We were at the grocery store with Nana & Grandpa and we passed the meat section & I just put some chicken in the cart and he kept turning around saying it but they didn't know what he was saying & I turned around and said "yes, that's meat! it's chicken!" and they just started laughing that he was saying "meat" and especially since he was correct about it!
- Lately, Liam has been "blessing" himself with various liquid-y substances! When Matias takes him to church he does cross himself with the Holy Water before entering & leaving the church so he's familiar with the concept BUT we've caught him "blessing" himself with toilet water, cottage cheese remnants & split water. We've got a budding blesser on our hands here! He's got the across the chest movement down but he's still working on the head portion (whoops, typed potion!) of the maneuver!
- Now he calls the playground down the street "HOT!" when we drive past it because of the time earlier this week I took him and the slide was burny-hot and he screamed burny-murder when he sat his little bum down on it. Whoops, my bad. I told him it was too hot out, think he'll listen to me now? I kid.
- When we went out to run errands a few days after being home, he said "Ge?" (airplane for the Liam to English translation) and then when we told him no, we weren't going to the airport today, he then asked if he could see "Nana, GG, Barbara and/or Wow-Wow". Matias asked him if he wanted to go back to Montreal & see everyone and he said "yeah" (sounds more like a grunt but he's saying "yeah") and it was one of those moments when you know you did the right thing by dragging him along with you to a different country to throw him off schedule & have him refuse about 90% of the food you attempted to give him in order for him to spend time with your family :)

Update on the P.S.
Liam isn't sick, I suppose he was just lounge-y that morning ;) I think I fought off the flu though, if that's possible. Yesterday was not a stellar day for me, I keep getting this headache that won't leave for days & then visits again right after you think it's gone!
But anyway - no one is sick! WOOT! I don't have the time or energy to have another sick week AGAIN.

How's your toe doing, Liam?
A couple of weeks ago when I was Single Parenting it (again), I was trying to bake cookies and get various appetizers ready for a Crop Club I was hosting that night while I let Liam play beside me in the Fellow Proof lazy Susan. Turns out it wasn't so Fellow Proof as I thought it was.
As I was trying not to burn the cookies (don't ask), he dropped something on his foot & instantly started wailing. Lots of kisses & hugs were administered & at first I just noticed a slight scrapping of the skin on his second Little Piggie, blood was showing but there was no bleeding so to speak. I really don't know what he dropped on it because there are only boxes and bags of things (all closed) in there so it's pretty harmless for him to be digging around in there - just a side note though - we DID use a latch on it, he just figured out how to open it like the same day Grandpa installed it - so there's no stopping him from getting in there hence the reason we've just taken Dangerous Things out of there!
Then, just when everyone was arriving, I noticed that his This Little Piggie's nail was BLUE and totally BRUISED! No wonder we had the wailing that we did - that must have smarted something fierce but since it didn't show up right away, I had no idea he had such a big owie.
Since then, mostly when getting his diaper changed, you can ask him "how's that toe doing?" and he will grab his foot & check out the development of that bruise, shove it in my direction & get a kiss from Mama.
I love watching all the connections being made - he remembers he hurt his toe, he knows which one, he checks it out & then proceeds to offer it up to the Kisses Make it All Better Mama. I wonder how long I can keep asking him how his toe is? It's not completely healed & actually looks a little worse for wear *praying it doesn't fall off* but he hasn't forgotten about it quite yet!

Full Schedule
I joined two new Mommies Groups in the last two weeks & we have been busy just about every morning this week because of all the events that they have scheduled - it's awesome & draining at the same time. Also doesn't help that a certain someone has only napped for 1 1/2 hours each time for the past two days so the afternoons are rather long!
Here's what our week looked like:
Monday - nothing on the schedule
Tuesday - Mall Walking
Wednesday - doctor appointment
Thursday - Toddlin' Time
Friday - recheck of shot & chicken pox vaccine appt & playdate at Kym's in the PM
Saturday (tomorrow) - Nana! & Grandpa are coming into town
Sunday - Super Bowl party at our house
Monday - Rocknoceros (live music) & 18 Month Photo Shoot
Tuesday - Mall Walking
Wednesday & Thursday - nothing on the calendar
Thursday - Toddlin' Time
BUSY. It's all really good cause Liam just really likes to get out of the house & he's learning to play really well with others and that's always a good thing...
BUT...
Everything has been at a really good time for us - 10am - right after breakfast & the events are over before lunch time hits the only draw back is that we are usually rushed to get out of the house to be on time! Liam wakes up between 7:30 and 8am, he has his milk, eats his breakfast, gets dressed up (so does Mama) and then we usually have to rush out. Somewhat rushing around, somewhat frantically. Then we rush in, have some milk, have some lunch & go down for a nap. Usually that nap lasts between 2 (bad) and 3 (good) hours leaving Mama enough time to get some housework done & a little lunch, shower & rest time thrown in there BUT when he only sleeps for that short time a few of those things fall by the wayside & it seems that neither of us are rested enough for the long stretch of day that is still in front of us. We have dinner at 7pm and then usually get cleaned up & in bed at 8pm so there can been 6 hours of entertaining & running around that need to be done in those hours! And by 8:30, I'm sometimes ready for bed myself yet I have to finish up the stuff that didn't get done during the shortened naptime and maybe get some CM work done in there too.
I know there's no such thing as "catch up on your rest" as long as you call yourself Mama but there are always things on my lists that need to be done or else the house just falls apart! And I do feel much more rested when Liam takes his longer naps & much more prepared to tackle the afternoon and evening so basically all this explaining & complaining boils down to "I need Liam to take his regular length naps, pleaseandthankyou". I'm lucky that Dada works from home most days and then he clocks out at 6pm and I can send Liam downstairs to be with him but that's still only 1 hour (he gets sent back up to me for dinner) out of the 12 that I'm the Parent in Charge & that can really be exhausting - especially, when Friday finally rolls around.
So, it shouldn't be a surprise that I'm looking back over our week & thinking about how my time is spent (both doing & not doing) and thanking the blue skies above that it is Friday & that Nana! & Grandpa (The Calvary) are coming tomorrow & that I don't have to be the Parent in Charge for the 12 hours that the Fellow is gracing us with his presence....for two days at least.

Shopping!
I had to rush out & get Liam some lounge around/everyday clothes since he seemed to only have "outfits" according to his father...
I decided to hit up Kohl's & Old Navy to see what they had on sale & I came away with some nice treats!
Kohl's had Carter's fuzzy footies on sale - same price as the outlet - and they also had their own name brand (Sonoma) on sale for $5 each piece! WOOT! So I got him a sweat shirt (blue with a red dino emblem), two sweat pants (red & orange), two turtlenecks (blue & a patterned "trucks" with orange accents), two footie jammies & two Elmo sippy cups!
At Old Navy they had all their rugby shirts on sale - we are a huge fan of rugby shirts in this house - plus their two piece jammies were marked down to $6.99! WOOT! I got him 3 pairs of jammies (robots, race cars & dinos), he can wear those through the spring, two rugby shirts (blue stripes & brown stripes), a white turtle neck, a striped (blues & oranges) onesie & slippers!
I was thinking about hitting up Children's Place & checking Target out but I think we are pretty well covered now for the season!
Happy Friday!

NaBloPoMo
I'm opening myself up to requests for post topics for the month of November! Either leave a comment or drop me an email (jennifer.nino, care of gmail) and maybe I will ramble on for you :)
There's a hitch to this here attempt at posting every day during November cause you see, WE ARE GOING TO ARGENTINA FOR 2 WEEKS THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING!!
But I will try and get my posts in before then, if that's not considering cheating, as I don't know about our internet connection while at Matias' grandparents home.

More at Procrastination Central!
I'm going to go on and do this 6 Quirks about Me for Liam while I'm at it :)
1) I will only drink water from a sippy cup not milk
2) I don't like the remotes to actually work, so I take all the batteries out of them
3) I will not eat while in the car
4) I have a swirl the size of a category 5 Hurricane on the top AND back of my head
5) My favorite thing to do lately is carry (a clean) trash can around & put things in it & then go throw them over the gate downstairs
6) In order to properly play with my Wheels & Gears toy, I have to toss all the Gears aside and just play with the Wheels part
Let's hear from all the other babies now!!

Taking after his namesake
Well sorta. But not really. ;)
Liam Robert was named, partially, after Nana's father - Robert William Gardner (we didn't know his middle name was William until after we picked Liam...) - and he LOVES to play in the "garden"!
He waters the plants on the deck, multiple times a day with the watering can :) Talk about cute toddler behavior!
He walks around to each planter with the watering can & "waters" them & then toddles off to the next one.
I got some video of it last night but it's not the best example of him doing it...
Last night he was opening the cooler, putting the watering can in it & trying to scoop up the water that is still in it! GENIUS!
Not so genius is his need to go mess with the recycling bin - I'm looking at you Grandpa.
Last night Matias & I were talking about how cute it was that he really enjoys going around & watering the plants and when Matias said, "he's a natural born gardener...", I couldn't resist by responding by "yes, yes he is!".

It's the Final Countdown Take 1
So, it's Liam's Birthday Month.
WOW.
In less than 3 weeks my bebe will be ONE YEAR OLD. A toddler. A no-longer-bebe-boy.
But before I fall out of my chair & render myself unable to complete this post let me get to what I came here to talk about :)
His Birthday Party. And the preparations of.
They are going really well, so far ;) I'm becoming QUITE obsessive about finding the PREFECT Happy FIRST Birthday cake plate. And I think I might have to concede to whatever power is blocking me from finding them.
I've got my orange, red & blue tin candle holders for outside. I've got my orange & blue plates/napkins/cups. I've got a blue Happy First Birthday banner. I've got a blue crown (!). I've got my orange favor bags that have to be embellished with my blue & red die cuts courtesy of my Sizzix Side Kick. [note to self - don't forget to make the 25 die cuts for the bags!]
But I cannot find the prefect cake plates. Matias could care less - or to quote him (to be fair) he's "not that concerned about it". My first choice would be something with the right colors (see above...) with Happy FIRST Birthday on it and nothing gay-ing it up. No teddy bears, no smiley faces, no nothing but possibly in JenLand Heaven a rocket ship. My second choice would be the above requirements for no gayness but minus the FIRST birthday part. Then the last choice is just plain plates. BLAH. I REALLY want something that says FIRST birthday but with nothing else on it (gay or otherwise) & I just CANNOT find it.
Google has failed me. And I really need to step away from the computer and STOP searching for "first birthday cake plates". And please, especially stop showing me the return for the stupid teddy bear gaying up my rocket ship that says FIRST BIRTHDAY. I am _thisclose_ to just covering up that little teddy bear.
:)
So I'm really close to being ready for the party (I think.), I just have the die cuts to make to complete the Favor Bags...
Next up - what should Liam wear for his pictures AND his party.
DECISIONS.

DECISIONS.

Few minor things!
Just a quick grocery list of things Liam is up to these days!
- He had blueberries for the first time yesterday & since his personality is shining through so much these days watching his little animated & very expressive face discover blueberries was a lot of fun!
- The Teefies were in full attack mode yesterday and caused quite a horrible, long day for both of us. Today seems much better. Thankfully.
- He is attempting to Self Feed. He takes the spoon & puts it in his mouth then touches the table (as if scooping more food) and brings it back to his mouth. Creates very long & messy meal times.
- He mastered the entire flight of stairs here at home. Monkey Kitty was in front of him & I think that proved just the right amount of motivation for him to keep going!
- The dining room is now off limits since he opened the LOCKED china cabinet. Mystic Kitty is none too happy about this.
- We have a Love/Hate Relationship with the dishwasher. He loves to turn it on, I hate that

Woke up, got out of bed, ran a comb across my head...
Oh wait, that's not what happened this morning!
Our Little Liam Fellow had a nightmare this morning - was loudly crying in his crib then started loudly screaming for MAMA. I jumped up to go get him & staggered past the guest room, where I normally peek in to look at the clock but couldn't see it since the sun was shining to brightly...
Got the poor little guy who was very, very upset & brought him back to bed where he saw DADA! Then all was fine...except...it was six o'clock in the morning.
He didn't go back to sleep.
Then the power went out.
Thawed out his plums for his cereal on the GAS stove top (thank god!) & he cried & fussed through his breakfast. Took him upstairs after plucking some banana out of his hair and from between his grubby little paws to put him down for his nap at nine am.
Who knows what this day is going to bring for us but Mama is a Crank Master (thankfully the power came back on while breekie was being served so coffee was made) & Daddy is back in bed with the Ms. Mys.
I'll keep you updated :)

This & That
Here are a few more things that Liam is up to these days:
- He knows that he has to slap the table in order to get his singing penguin Ramon in motion & he slaps it all the time
- He's growing to like Cheerios but will still pick them out of his Puff & Cheerios pile & throw them ONLY on the ground. Sometimes he even pushes my hand away if I offer him one! I know it will take some time but they way they market them (and Goldfish) to kids you would have thought they would have treated them like gold!
- He has a new phone (that just got recalled) that he can talk on & he [was] having a lot of fun with it [until I had to take it away from him]. He opens it & babbles away and pushes all the buttons. It's also helped improve his regular phone talking skills :)
- Now he has learned to arch his back when he doesn't want to do something - like go in his highchair, go on the changing table, be held...I'm not liking these turn of events but it's never anything hardcore and he usually chills out as soon as he is in place...
- He threw up on my foot in Sears this morning. Just leaned over and puked. Lovely! Thank you!
- He hands me things all the time now :) It's too cute!
- His kisses are getting much more frequent & also much more sloppy - but I won't stop him :)

Quick recap
Liam has been busy keeping Mommy on her toes so I haven't had as much time to devote to my ramblings here but here's a quick recap of things that have happened this week!
On Friday Grandpa's flight got canceled from Dulles to home so he rented a car and stopped on by & decided to stay the night :) He fed Liam his dinner, napped while he napped & just generally hung out & hugged & kissed on him the entire time! Grandpa has the same double cough that Grandma has & the copying was in full force again & now even when we cough (and poor Matias with his allergies...) he mimics us :) It's too cute! He's not quite sure what to make of the 9 sneezes Daddy manages to get out in a row though! You can see his little brain working away to figure out how to copy that noise!
Saturday we went to Lowe's to get a freezer for the garage - our little freezer doesn't cut it with all of Liam's foods & Matias' Favorite Food (Meat!) so we got one for the garage. And then browsed around looking at the patio furniture & bought some PLANTS! Matias planted an herb garden after successfully growing his own basil for quite some time now & I actually planted some flower pots! Liam hung out outside with us in his Pack n' Play - making that the first time we've used the Play portion of that device! He watched us but mostly spent his timing watching the landing pattern for Dulles :) The boy loves his planes!
Sunday, I held my Memoranza (CM's equivalent for National Scrapbooking Day/Month) so it was a Liam & Daddy day! They spent most of it at the mall while Matias got new tires & brakes & he hung out in his stroller most of the time. Matias said he had a good time and that he took a nap while they were wasting time. He's got quite the little crush on one of my friends/customers Jodi & he hammed it up good for her whenever he got the chance!
The yeast infection pretty much cleared up over the weekend as well - and along with that the FLIPPING STOPPED! I'm assuming he was in such discomfort that flipping was one of his ways of dealing with it - whatever it was I'm SO GLAD it has disappeared!
Also, since we've been giving him Heartier Meals I've started offering him water in between bites - he basically refused to use a sippy cup & will only drink from a cup - assisted, of course. He's getting much better at each meal & only dribbles the tiniest bit on himself & I really do think he appreciates the chance to cleanse his palette ;)
Another milestone that I've noticed him reaching has been Sorting - he puts things into their proper place, he puts his Cheerios into the "cup holder" on his tray & has mastered the cubes for his farm, along with fitting the circle in the circle hole - the triangle is giving him some issues but I'm sure he will work it out in no time! It's really cute to watch him put his finger goods in his cup holder :) He also hands me things now - the remote, his bottle, the phone(s), a book...and that is just totally adorable :) I say "thank you" every time he hands me something & I think that encourages him to hand me more things...
And that brings me to something else - having to tell him "NO". We've, of course, had to start telling him "no touch" once he became mobile and he wasn't REALLY grasping the concept until the past handful of days. He listens about 90% of the time but the ONLY downside is when he stops touching the thing, I say "thank you, that's a good boy" & since I've praised him for doing what I've asked, he does it again to hear me say "thank you" - you can see where that is leading...he reaches out for the forbidden item & smiles at me, waiting for me to say "no touch" & "thank you". So, I do it. Again, I'm the dementedparent parrot saying "no touch", "thank you" & "open/closed". It's no wonder I cannot speak in full sentences anymore ;)
The Cruising is increasing daily :) Please someone give me a cute Liam Fellow term for Cruising - I can only think of gay boys at a truck stop or Tom Cruise - oh wait, those are the same thing...anyway I digress...the Cruising is getting much better although he's still working on his confidence - he reaches out to the ottoman from the couch & just barely cannot make it so instead of just letting go for that brief moment he sits & crawls two paces to get there. But when he Cruises on one piece of furniture, he's much more confident about it & now goes all along the couch, daybed downstairs, Pack n' Play & he walks around his Office (now refusing actually go IN it). I'm sure it will just be days before he lets himself take that plunge and releases one hand to grab his next piece of Cruising material (refraining from making Katie Holmes joke here...).
Liam is blowing raspberries on ME now - usually my thigh/knee area or upper arm (the nice flabby sections!) and also attempting to hit his open mouth on me to make the Indian Sound.
And for a quick recap, this got awful long :) Don't fret I'm wrapping it up as LOST is on! Tomorrow, I will talk about my need to clean out & sort his baby toys from his Little Big Boy toys & more exciting things like Gymboree sales & polo shirts!

QUICK recap
I'm going to do this quickly & later come back & add more details and speak in full sentences :)
But for now, here's a list of things Liam is doing & accomplished in the past week:
But for now, here's a list of things Liam is doing & accomplished in the past week:
- he now has two bottom teefies!
- he is allergic to eggplant!
- he is pulling up to standing!
- he lets go & stands by himself for a few seconds!
- he is "saying" HURRAY!
- some of his hair is so long that it falls over his ears & collars of his shirts
- he's crawling everywhere & finding every bit of cat food & water bowl there is to find
- he's flipping over on his changing table to switch off & on the light switch
- he's chasing Monkey around
- he loves chasing after his train
- he still loves his books & will normally choose one over a toy & crawl into Mommy's lap
- he met his Great Grandmother (GG) from Montreal who is 90 years old & he let her hold him & feed him a bottle
- he met his Great Auntie Carol & was not allowed to have any of the sugar or cookies she kept offering him
- he got his first bathing suit from Grandma & Grandpa (along with a bunch of totally cute clothes!)
- his Great Auntie Carol got him MY favorite children's CD - Anne Murray "There's a Hippo in my Bathtub" - it's out of print in the US but was able to find it for me
- his Auntie Leanne got him some adorable sockies & some toy soccer balls (which he loves to play with in the track of the sliding doors)

Few other things
While I'm on a posting streak I might as well fill y'all in on some other little things that have been happening or said lately...
- We no longer have to ride in the back seat with Liam on trips around town! He loves his new car seat and is happy looking out the windows (we keep one slightly open for some wind, which he loves) or sleeping peacefully.
- Matias asked "how old does he have to be before we can put skates on him?" GIGGLE.
- Liam is picking up his Gerber Puffs and feeding himself :) Still mostly using the grasp in the hand & open entire hand inside mouth maneuver but slowly learning his Pincer Grasp also!
- Matias said the other night "His Z is for Zamboni is like War & Peace for him" Which is totally true & utterly amusing to me. It's a long book with lots of words so right now he's really only getting to "C is for coach..." before searching out another book.

Cant hurt to start him young, can it?
It's official!
Liam's First Concert will be the 5th Annual Huey Lewis event at Wolf Trap on May 31st!
YAY!!
Grandma & Grandpa (funny how he joins us for everything now that the Fellow is here...) will be coming up for the show, staying the weekend (can you say "hit the pool"?) and then on Monday the three of us (no Fellows or Matiases) will be heading back to Wolf Trap to see Tony Bennett!
We are just going to do lawn for Huey since you have to buy a ticket even for "babe-in-arms" and since we dont really know how this will play out with the young Fellow we are just not going to take any chances - esp. with a $20 price difference in tickets :) He'll be just over 10 months at that point so, hopefully, maybe not walking yet...and we can still easily control him and enjoy ourselves somewhat!
So excited :)
