Bottomless Pit!

Now, I know it's going to sound ridiculous that I am going to "complain" about how much Liam is eating, oh but I am not going to let that stop me. This could be another growth spurt, this could be just something to do or finally this kid has just started to really, truly put some food away.

This is what he has had this morning between 8 & noon:

  • 7 oz of milk
  • 4 ounces of peach medley apple sauce
  • 4 ounces of apple yogurt
  • 1 piece of cinnamon french toast slathered with butter
  • 4 oz of strawberry apple sauce
  • 5 oz of peach cottage cheese
  • 7 oz of milk
  • numerous snackies
Before the day is done he will probably have 2 more apple sauces & another yogurt on top of his milk intake & dinner entree. I'm really not taking issue with how much he seems to be eating but rather with oh my god, could I please do something other than wrestle spoons out of his hands, wipe apple sauce off of every surface or more so WHEN CAN I STOP FEEDING THIS KID AND LET HIM GO ON AND FEED HIMSELF ALL THE TIME?????

Seriously, I'm getting kind of sick of feeding him. Is that bad? Or just weird? Or both. Cause you know it could totally be GOOD in a WEIRD way. And I'd be ok with that. I would. I totally would.

Liam will show you where everything is! He'll get your food for you, get you a spoon (or two! one for Mama!), and take you over to your chair and also throw away your lid for you! He'd probably feed you too, if you let him; he's not very messy and (just like Mama) wipes his mouth with his spoon often to get all the excess food off! I think that's a good idea! Have your toddler FEED YOU!

Unless you do actually do this, be careful cause you'll end up with 7 goldfish in your mouth at once with 56 more coming at you in rapid succession!
