In the course of making Liam's papaya I discovered/noticed two things -
1) Papaya seeds look like caviar
2) Papaya kind of smells after it has been steamed & pureed
I would not say Liam LOVES papaya but we have not had any bad diaper incidents & he continues to open his mouth to eat it. Thankfully we have another meal to add to his menu, sadly Papaya turns a dark orange when steamed & pureed.

I think it's FANTASTIC that you're exposing him to so many different types of fruits and veggies. I'm sure you can be confident that as he grows, he'll have an interest in eating things other than hot dogs, chicken fingers and PB&J.
I am always amazed at my friend Angie's kids. You order a pizza, and they want things like pineapple and banana peppers on it because they've always had a broad pallete!
That's what I'm hoping for! It's not that I wasnt a picky eater, cause lord knows, I was but there was always things I would eat that were considered 'strange' for my age...ask my mom about smoked salmon! Another "rule" we will have for Liam (or I say this now!) is that we will not offer him choices for his meals...no Menu A, B or C...he will get what we cook him & it will most likely be what we are eating. Now granted, I'm a big fan of Kraft dinner, tomato soup and grilled cheese sammichs so "kid food" will have its place just not as predominate as it can manage to be :) And we will try and not push our food "issues" onto him also, for example, Mommy dont do lamb or veal but Daddy does, so Liam will get the option to enjoy it and if he does than he can continue to exercise that option ;)
And THANKS!!!
