- Nana loves it when Liam says "no, no, MyNana" to her. She has a hard time not laughing/giggling at him even when he's telling her 'no, no' because he shouldn't be doing something.
- Nana taught Liam how to finally say "chupies" and he also now says "beach"! I think she might have started that Beach Countdown a little too early though cause every day now he asks when we are going to the beach. He hasn't quite grasped the concept of 'next week' yet.
- Nana doesn't know about this one BUT I'm sure she'd love it - Liam points out her peanut butter & toast plate (she uses the same pattern every day, not the same plate) and calls it "MyNana's peanut butter".
- Nana has some pajamas that have lambs on them, somehow that translated into Liam having to carry around & sleep with his two little lambies he has. He even had to bring his "ba-ba's" to Tumbles with us. Even the Ba-Ba's got a chance to go down the slides.
- Auntie told Nana that she should trace Liam's hands & feet in crayon (or GeeGah if you speak Liamese) but he didn't want any part of that, instead insisting that MyNana do it. Every day. Multiple times a day. He would go over to her, take her shoes off, place her foot on the pad of paper & make her trace her own foot! Good idea, Auntie! Better MyNana than me!

Friday Five - Things the Fellow does not Approve
We have on our hands an independent little thinker these days, with opinions & desires and freshly added Things a Fellow Does Not Approve Of and today I will honor those things with the hope that someday these opinions will change!
- Fellow approves of raisins & craisins BUT not any other kind of dried fruit. I tried the Fruit Bites & Raisin with Cheeries and since they were different colors and different shapes (I'm assuming), he wouldn't even touch them. Or look at them.
- Fellow does not approve of eating what he asks to eat. Snack time has been challenging this week to say the least. He will ask for cereal, then not eat it. He will ask for cottage cheese and then run screaming like I handed him a bowl of snakes. He will ask for yogurt and then look at me like I just asked him to name all fifty (there are 50, right?) states in alphabetical order. He will ask for a cookie, but not that cookie, he wants that cookie and you see, Dada ate all of those cookies so there are none to give. And yet he still looks the gift cookie in the face and refuses to eat it. Fine, I'm not one to waste food...
- Fellow does not approve of shirts. He's been hardcore hitting up the Ghetto Style this week. As Nana says, I need to get the kid some bling.
- Fellow does not approve of running errands that involve him being in the car seat, stroller and/or shopping cart for the entire duration. He wants to "walk, Mama" and "run, Mama" and yes, Mama is well aware of this little factoid but is also well aware of the street outside those doors and those doors that open automatically and the errands that actually need to get done, thankyouverymuch, this is not a playground, son.
- Fellow does not approve of being silent in the car for one hot second. At all. Today, I told him he was a distraction as I was trying to pull out into holiday rush hour traffic coming from the Post Office (carseat-->stroller errand) and it actually
shut him the hell upmade him pause and reflect silently for a moment.

Friday Five!
Here's my cheater list of New Things Liam is Doing/Attached to this Week:
- He loves Winnie the Pooh & has learned several new words from him! He knows wind, leaves, recognizes and says hat more often, house, owl and knows all the characters.
- He finally warmed up to his NASCAR car this week! We have been bringing it inside the house to have him get used to it but I think that backfired cause he would only get in and then hop right out. As soon as I brought it out front he was ALL OVER IT. When he is actually using the steering wheel, he does it one-handed with the other arm leaning on his window - too cute. He gets the brightest smile on his face and just turns towards me and grins! Most of the time though he does it without holding on to the steering wheel so we are going to have to work on that instead of just running into things.
- He loves to cuddle on the couch before bedtime and insists that we both join him. We get hugs and kisses while watching some Winnie the Pooh.
- He doesn't really seem to mind when Dada goes to work because he really enjoys saying bye-bye but definitely more throughly enjoys saying HI DADA when he gets home!
- He has to sleep with a few Winnie the Pooh books, his Pooh phone, his Pooh dressed up in a Tigger costume animal & his constellation Turtle. If he's missing any of these things, he will not go to bed quietly.
